Taking turns

The Purpose of this resource:

This resource can be used as a prompt for teaching children to share or to wait for a turn when playing a game or with toys.

How to use this resource:

A picture of the toy or game is placed at the top of the page in the empty square. Photos of the children involved are placed next to 'is having a turn' and 'is waiting nicely'. Print and laminate the board as well as photos/written name of the children and the games/toys that will be used.

Place ‘furry’ Velcro on each blank square on the board.

Place ‘sticky’ Velcro on the back of the laminated photos/name tags. Store photos/name tags on a seperate laminated board.
