Wh Questions Introduction

Wh Questions Introduction

This resource has a description of each type of question. It can be used in the following ways:

- As an introduction to learning about questions.

- As a matching activity, where the students have to match the question word with the definition of that word.

- As a visual cue. The teacher may ask a child a question (whilst holding the picture of that question type) to give the child an idea of what sort of answer is required.

- As a cue to aid expressive language. The visuals can be given to a child to help them ask questions of others. You could point to the visual and say 'what do you want to ask?'
