Aided Language Stimulation

Aided Language Stimulation

Aided Language Stimulation is a language stimulation approach in which the communication partner (teacher/clinician) points to the picture symbols on a student's communication display and pairs it with speech/ language stimulation.

This serves as a model for the child learning to use AAC about the use of pictures for conveying a message.
